How often have you been told things like this?

“You don’t seem Autistic.”

“Stop being dramatic.”

“They’re fine at school.”

“Everyone’s ADHD now.”

“You’re too smart for this.”

“They don’t qualify for supports.”

“Try harder.”

“Just take their phone away!”

No judgement if you say you’ve lost count.

Too often, well-meaning professionals and family members often make assumptions and give advice based on outdated understanding of the ADHD/Autistic experience.

When their ideas don’t work, it’s easy to feel like you’re “not enough” or “too much,” and then the shame and helplessness creep in again.

As hard as it might be to believe right now, the truth is you aren’t the problem; you just need a different approach.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider, and Kids Yoga School Founder with 15+ years experience working with young people and families. I specialize in supporting ADHDers and Autistic people who are often assumed to be neurotypical, anxious, or defiant rather than differently wired. My clients are often overlooked for support because they excel academically, are verbose, “seem social,” or have a special talent.

Hi there, I’m Courtney!

My approach is collaborative, blending personal experience and professional expertise.

I help my clients learn how the ADHD and Autistic experience impact them, provide space to process their experiences, and work with them—rather than just telling them what to do— so they can find strategies that build upon their strengths and incorporate interests, with the goal of sustainably navigating a rapidly shifting world.

Curious about working together? Learn more about my service offerings.

I intentionally maintain a small, specialized caseload so I can provide the most individualized, effective, and dynamic services to my clients.

My hope is that this approach allows for an investment of time, energy, and resources for a period of time that feels manageable and beneficial for those I work with.

To protect the privacy of my clients and to support my own executive function as a neurodivergent person, I do not take insurance. However, I offer an equitable sliding scale, where clients are able to self-select into a rate for services, with most services; if you are not sure if you could manage the financial investment to work together but think we could be a good match, please reach out to me directly to talk more.
